Still Life Oil Painting Intensive: All Levels at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
Tuesdays: 10:15 am – 3:15 pm
Learn the fundamental skills of oil painting through use of still life. The focus will be on composition, value and color relationships. Previous drawing experience is required. All levels of painting ability are welcome from beginner to advanced students. Instruction is given on an individual basis. A supply list will be given at the first class.
Beginning Perspective Drawing at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
Wednesday: 1:30 pm – 4 pm
This is a basic, easy-to-understand class in formal perspective. It is designed to provide a working understanding of how to improve paintings and drawings with knowledge of the fundamental rules of perspective. What will be studied will be: one and two-point perspective, the perspective of ellipses and aerial perspective in landscapes, using line, value and color. This class is designed to improve your free-hand drawing and painting from nature.

Color Theory at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
Thursday: 1:30 pm – 4 pm
Learn the fundamentals of color theory through class exercises and color charting. Through mixing colors using oil paint, learn about complimentary colors, analogous colors, color temperature and intensity and neutral colors. This course will be offered in 3 parts with Color 2 ( the study of color optics) being offered in the winter term and Color 3 (color analysis) being offered in the Spring.
Studio Classes at Fenway Studios
Sundays – noon to 3:30 pm (10/1-12/17)
Price: $400 for 10 weeks
Students can work on individual projects of their choice – still life painting, drawing, perspective. Supplies can be left in the studio. Work in beautiful north light in a small class environment of dedicated students and friendly atmosphere. Much individual attention. Class is limited to 5 students, so your payment secures your registration in the class.
